7 Days of Smoothies: Day 7 Blueberry Apple Revitaliser

Whip up a refreshing and revitalising Blueberry and Apple Smoothie to get you going in the morning. This smoothie takes a little prep-work to peel and grate the apples, and peel the cucumber but it is well worth it. The pictured smoothie had a lot more cucumber in it, so feel free to add plenty of cucumber if that’s your thing, but for a fruitier taste, add a liberal amount of blueberries and delicious lemonade apples. The lemonade apples add just the right amount of sweetness to complement the tartness of the blueberries, and the cucumber ties everything together beautifully with its refreshing flavour. Make sure to blend well or drink with a wide straw so you get all of the delicious apple and cucumber pulp!

 

SERVES: 3

INGREDIENTS:

2 Lemonade Apples, peeled and grated

2/3 punnet Blueberries

1/3 peeled Cucumber

Coconut Water as desired
